Most people at some point in their life have locked their keys in the car. Even the smartest people in the world have made this mistake; well not us, but everyone. We do not make these kind of stupid mistakes because; well as we have told you, we are just too smart.
The best part of this kind of stupid mistake is that is can so easily be prevented, yet people insist on doing it over and over. People also have the best excuses for why this happens. Our favorite is : "The dog did it". Yes, we actually know people who blame their poor innocent dogs for this stupidity. It is not rocket science here; you turn off the ignition, remove the key, get out of the car...simple, simple, simple! When you have the locksmith on speed dial or 13 of your family and friends have spare keys to your car...honey you have a problem. You need help! There are just not enough excuses for this.
Now most people have their car keys on the same key chain as their house keys; therefore you lock the keys in the car and you have now locked yourself out of the house and do not have access to another spare set of keys. So now you not only have to break into your car, but you have to break into your house if you need to get another set of car keys.
So to prevent having to call family and friends or being forced to break into your own house; these people do the next most logical thing...they get a coat hanger or any other utensil they think would work and spend two hours trying to unlock their doors. This is perplexing to us; how is it that a robber who wants to steal your car can get into it with a coat hanger in under 30 seconds; but an idiot trying to get into their own car spends two hours? How does this happen?
We offer this advice; if you cannot follow the steps above or simply use common sense to prevent this problem from occurring repeatedly than maybe you need to remove all the locks from your car doors or you need to start taking the bus. You obviously cannot handle the responsibility of driving a vehicle.
